For effective correction and prophylaxis of posture problems it is necessary to undergo a diagnostics of functional condition of musculoskeletal system according to O.Slinko’s authoring methodology.

    This is an extensive complex examination, including orthopaedic examination, defining the main vital signs, functional tests, such as defining amplitude of spine motions and other joints, which allows to obtain sufficient information on musculoskeletal system of a person and define the main reasons for complex orthopaedic disorders.

    During the examination there is compiled “A graphic depiction of spine” or “Spine Passport” according to which an individual “Instructor’s chart” is formed.

    Also a separate “Diagnostic chart” is compiled, where all data of orthopaedic examination are recorded. The central spine axis is measured by the anatomic points. Linear and goniometric measurements are filled into a special chart, dynamometry, photosomatoscopy and plantography of feet is done.

    According to the results of the diagnostics, there is prescribed an individual complex of correcting exercises and manipulations to correct orthopaedic disorders, which can be done in the Centre. Besides, there is recommended an additional special correction by means of orthopaedic devices, which can be purchased directly in the Centre.

    Authoring diagnostics of the spine functional condition elaborated and introduced by Oksana Slinko has a number of advantages in comparison with traditional methods of examination, such as radiography, magnetic resonance image, ultrasound examination and others.

    The main drawbacks of these traditional methods are the absence of a possibility to see the full picture of the constitution and development of person’s posture, interconnection between orthopaedic disorders of separate parts of musculoskeletal system and their compensation.

    None of the modern medical examination methods of musculoskeletal system can be an independent and sufficient source of information.

    The diagnostics according to Oksana Slinko’s method allows to avoid unnecessary and harmful radioactive irradiation of a person, which is the main side effect of modern diagnostic medical equipment.

    Only the complex general examination of biomechanics of the human body according to the Oksana Slinko’s authoring diagnostics of functional spine condition gives a possibility to see in 90% of cases reasons for deformation of posture and central spine axis.

    The graphic depiction of spine compiled during the diagnostics allows to prescribe an individual complex of special therapeutic and corrective exercises and to form an individual plan of trainings according to the authoring corrective gymnastics.

    A repeated diagnostics is done for children aged 5 to 13 in 3 months after the beginning of trainings in therapeutic gymnastics and for teenagers till 16 years of age with the diagnosis of idiopathic and fast progressing scoliosis and cypho-scoliosis.

    For other patients a repeated diagnostics is done in 6 months after the beginning of trainings.
