Yoga’s aim is to achieve physical and spiritual unity, and thus to improve the general condition and the way a person feels. The exercises do not require a big physical preparation. The complex is an ideal system for regular trainings.
Yoga produces therapeutic effect for a wide range of physical and mental diseases. This method works on several levels. Strengthening of muscles helps to restore the correct posture, which is useful for joints problems such as pain in the spine, neck, arthritis, and rheumatism. Deep relaxation achieved through yoga ideally suits for stress relief, insomnia, and anxiety.
During yoga energy freely circulates in the body, which has a positive influence for different digestion problems. Special breathing, used to regulate the living energy (prana), is very helpful for the patients suffering from asthma and other breathing disorders.
During the exercises breathing and posture are done slowly in combination with the controlled breathing, thus body and consciousness concentrate or set to meditation mood. Yoga is widely used as a means to support flexibility and physical condition.
Yoga, which includes meditation and relaxation, became very popular due to the fact that it helps to fight excitability, fits of fear, depressions, and various nervous disorders.
The main and integral part of yoga exercises is meditation – a mental action aimed at concentration and going deep into the person’s psyche, that is accompanied by the body relaxation, absence of emotional impulses.
Meditation is a good way to allow a person to come into contact with him/herself, to listen to the inner voice, to allow consciousness to calm down completely.
One of the advantages of this method is improvement of attention and emotional stability combined with lowering of stress and depression.
Duration of the exercises is 1 hour.
